I took a huge blogging break and I had to re-evaluate what I want to talk about in this blog. I decided that I would share more of my creative pieces and personal stories. I hope you enjoy this particular poem.
Have you ever skipped the gym because you’re tired? Opened a package of cookies, having the best of intentions, only to devour them all? Maybe you’ve binged watched Netflix till 3:00 a.m., knowing you have work at 8:00 the next day.
The trickiest thing about stress is probably the fact that it drains us of energy. We’re stressed so we want to do something to make it go away, but we’re also tired and don’t really feel like doing much at all.
Anxiety gets to everyone. It can creep up on us in the early hours of the morning, and keep us awake at night when we are so desperate to sleep. Anxiety does not distinguish hours of the day, nor does it distinguish whether or not you are in a good mood.

When I was in High School, I remember filling out college applications with frustration and confusion. I was always stuck on the census forms, you know, the one in which they ask you which race you are. The catch is that they only let you pick one.
We all know that having a steady health and wellness routine can be hard. Whether it is having no time for exercise, or no time for self-care, maintaining out wellness can fall through the cracks if our lives are hectic. But if you try to incorporate some health and wellness tips into your daily life, then they will slowly become routine.
Life is overwhelming. That is a basic fact. Most of us choose to accept this and continue on, breezing through difficult life decisions and easily overcoming challenges. But there are the select few of us, well a lot of us actually, who struggle and can’t find that crutch to overcome the obstacles blocking our growth.
